List 10 things in today's Toronto Star that would be of interest to an environmental activist. Arrange these items in the order you think would be most important to the activist. Give reasons to support your selections. Use your list to participate in a group discussion.

FUTURE TRENDS

Anyone planning a future career should look at future trends. Use the Careers section in the Toronto Star to begin a list of careers in the environmental, waste management and recycling fields. Add some careers that you foresee will be necessary in these fields. What level of education and what skills will they require? Write a career ad for one of these positions that might appear in the Toronto Star 10 years from now.
